About Mochel Insurance Group, LLC

 

Mochel Insurance Group, LLC is an independent insurance agency representing dozens of highly rated insurance companies for business insurance, employee benefits, auto, home, health and life insurance.  The agency was formed in 2000 by Kevin and Kristy Mochel.    Kevin worked previously for several local insurance agencies, as well as a large national insurance broker before determining that the small business segment was be underserved by insurance agents.

Kevin began his insurance career in 1993 working for one of the largest insurance brokers in the United States.  Before starting Mochel Insurance Group in 2000, he has worked with hundreds of business owners to design insurance plans that fit each individual business owners needs.

 

Kristy Mochel, Partner

Kristy joined the Mochel Insurance Group in June of 2000 after 10 years of experience in customer service and construction management.  Kristy runs the personal lines division of the agency and works with customers to secure the appropriate coverage at a competitive cost. 
 

Travis Gensler, Account Executive

Travis joined the agency in 2009 after working as an independent Farmers Insurance Agent.  Travis is licensed for both property / casualty and life / health insurance.  Travis works from his office in Independence, MO but he serves the entire Kansas City area.  He focuses on helping individuals and small business owners with all their insurance needs.  Travis is also our agency resource for Medicare Supplement plans. 
 

Staci Goetz, Account Manager

Staci came to the agency with 8 years of previous insurance experience in both customer service, and agency management.  She is truly the backbone of the office and assists clients with their day to day requests.  If you call into the agency, Staci is eager to assist you if your agent is unavailable.

Bree joined the agency after working with Farmers Insurance.  She assists the agents with quoting new and renewal accounts.
